Well, here is the solution for real big horses with heavy feet, that won't pick up there feet... :D Easy on the farriers back, no sedation needed!!! :)

That's what I need for the Shetlands!

Hoik it up to about waist height and tie their feet up!

great idea - dont know if my horses would agree though;)

my mare was put in something similar when she broke her leg

Actually, these cages are usually used for cattle... but by the sounds of it, it comes in really handy for heavier horses... that like to lean on you!!! ;) :D
