Ive recently got the chance to show a minature mare inhand in May. Have been practising my in hand skills and am confident enough with that (the little gal knows her stuff) but what is correct showing attire for me?

Wear what you like!
Must be smart and with clean cut lines. I know some old dears resplendent in cocktail dresses......a hat is a must.
Chinos, a waistcoat and a hat you are comfy with, shirt with descreet brooch at the collar. OR, skirt suit if you are of that generation, kilt, hat and white shirt.
This is what I wear at local events showing reg. Shetlands. Fair Isle jacket, stock, hat, gloves and matching breechs.....and a cane.

Thanks. Your little 'un is Lovely.:D I was afraid you were going to say a hat! Eugh! Think i'll stick with the trousers though, Haven't got the legs to carry off a skirt. lol. So would i get away with black trousers and a well fitted shirt and black waistcoat? (now i sound like a waitress.lol)

Yes, but dress it up with some colour or you will look like you are about to serve the judge with a Latté
A hat, gloves and a cane are vital to the overall image.

Never black gloves, always brown!
Sounds very nice indeed.
here's a picture of how Yellow and navy works well in the showring, with a dark bay.
This is Jane MacInnes' mare Jenny with a friend of mine driving her.

I look upon that vehicle every time I see it with the green eyed monster on my shoulder. It is a gorgeous vehicle. Has a pole for pairs too.
The navy and yellow are really smart together.
