How about adding an online chat facility for the members!! Most forums have them.....if there's one here I haven't found it. Being a 'mature' memeber I may just be having an "elderly moment"

i think a chat room is a good idea, but moderating it is such a major problem remember there are people of all ages on here and its easy for people to get offended if things are not moderated properly.

And many other suggestions of a chatroom in the past. As it's been said, they're too hard to moderate.

We did try one once (believe it was where the members photos are) but no one ever seemed to use it

I used to run an online support group for ppl with depression and I introduced a chat room and to be honest it was very hard to keep it under control.
You need a moderator in the room 24/7 to make sure that if an 'argument' breaks out, which CAN happen, trust me !! then there is someone in there to help resolve the issue.

Altho I enjoy chat rooms, I do feel sorry for the moderators ;)
