Im thinking of supplements for M who i have on loan. He is 24 year old TB ex advanced eventer and dressage horse. We do 30 minute hacks in walk sometimes trot, and 30 minute lessons. He hates flies and sometimes has a bit of a cough (hay soaked) occasionally he trips in school when warming up, and when walking on roads hind legs slip a little (road studs in hind shoes to help)
Im thinking maybe giving garlic, this is supposed to be good for breathing and circulation, also gets rid of flies? And my riding instructer recommeded glucosamine (sp?) anyone have any thoughts?

I feed garlic for those reasons :D great stuff. You could also consider Apple Cider Vinegar, it helps all sorts lbut keeps flys at bay and keeps joints supple. Glucosamine also helps keeps joint supple.

As jessey says, garlic for flys and alba fly spray! ITS ACE!! Anyways, for his joints etc i would either give him NAF 5* Superflex but this is quite expensive, you get a cheaper version called M.S.M by naf it works wanders and contains glucosamine and many other things to limber him up, it will also help with his slipping as it should help build his muscles :D
