not yet, but i've been thinking about it really seriously, my TB gets really worked up when i take him out in the trailer and i like the idea that you can use this as and when you need it or all the time
if you try it, let us know how you get on with it, and if i get round to shelling out the pennies on it, i'll let you know :)

If you've tried Magnesium and that didn't work then Karma probably won't either (Karma is mg based isn't it?).
I use bog standard, cheap, CalMag and it's just as effective as any of the posh packaged stuff out there.

i have tried other magnesium based calmers that have only had minimal affect - aparently its more easily absorbed in the form its in in karma so wondered if it would be better.

Hi,
Unless your horse has a mag deficiency then a mag based calmer wont work. Iv got a fizzy TB and tried quite a few. None of the mag based ones worked. Iv been recommended Topspec calmer. My blacksmith uses it for a fizzy TB mare that has to be stabled all the time and told me that its really taken the edge off her. I havent tried it yet but Im going to buy some. My TB has just gone onto the summer grazing (which has been ungrazed since October so you can imagine what the grass is like) and to say he has the "spring fizz" is an understatement. Let me know how you go with bluechip though.

You can get a special supplement for horses like that after and during travelling, I saw an advert in a magazine for it today.
This is the advert thingy:
Equine Herbals has developed Travel, to help horses cope better with travelling. Blended for a racehorse who had difficulty preforming after travelling, he showed a marked improvment and went to win upon taking Travel. Priced at £20 for 500ml, and £37.50 for 1L. For more details call 0800 783 5581, or visit www. equineherbals.com

Hi did you try the Karma on your horse and what were the effects. Any Good?
I have used Magic and MagCalm both seem to work well. It was suggested that I try CroMag as a calmer and also the help with headshaking but he seems to be a bit worse on this.

i brought a bottle, used it twice, dropped it on the floor, container split and it went everywhere!!
gave up with liquid and now using calmag which is great - would be interested to hear what others think though
not too impressed with the pouring system either - would have been easier if it had been one of those squeezey ones!!
