Why so sneezy?!

Is my first summer with my own horse and am noticing she is sneezing a LOT when I ride over the last few weeks.
Last night in the menage (where I usually ride) it was really regular in trot and canter and I was getting pulled forward or having to let the reins slips through my fingers. neither of which are ideal of course!

Do horses get hayfever?!

I don't know about the hay fever, but at least here, there's so much polen in the air from the pines, fruit trees and other bushes, that my grey pony had a yellow face with a bright flourescent type snot... (excuse the word, I'm sure there's a better word, but can't think of it!!! ) ;) And they spent a lot of times blowing their noses while grazing... like get this stuff off my nose!!! :cool:

Spring is in the air!!! ;)
