I have just bought a bag of moody mare supplement but as it only recomends a cup per day what can i put with it apart from chaff. she has been having baileys lo cal. can i put the two together or will i be overdosing on minerals. she is a good doer and is out all day on grass/hay.

Is there a reason you cant mix with chaff? On the occasion Ive been in use of it, and the horse isnt partically on a hard feed as such/out at grass I have just mixed in with scoop of hi-fi lite?

I must admit I am a big Hi-fi lite fan, especially when you own a piggy cob! but you need to give supplements

what do you recomend. the baileys lo cal is a balancer and she has a rocky block in the field. if i cut out the lo cal and give hi fi lite, what supplement do you suggest do go with the moody mare. sorry for being a pain

Hi-Fi Lite is one of the best feeds on the market, especially for good doers and laminatics.
I see no reason why the Lo-Cal can't be mixed with the supplement, though a vbit of chaff would make it easier to mix with and more platable, as it will balance your horse's ration to make sure she gets no deficiencies. the Moody Mare supplment will not do this alone.
