Saw this & thought of all the adults who ride ponies! Bear in mind that there are very few four star events & this pony is doing the equivalent of Badminton - it's harder than the Olympics!!!

Apparently this event is being shown over the web in real time so maybe we can cheer them on!

I've seen him before ... and I could have gone to Rolex this year but didn't (how dumb am I ??) ... Do you know, the little horse was called Theodore O'Connor before the O'Connors had anything to do with him. Karen O used to refer to him as "Theodore O'Connor ( no relation)". He's such an inspiration. Teddy, I mean. So is Karen and her husband too. I'd love to meet them one day. They had a short TV series here last year just following them, their training, the young riders they have studying with them.

Can you imagine !! 14.1 WOW. THERE IS HOPE FOR MEEEE !!!! (and joePony who, at nearly 15hh would tower above Teddy). Now all we have to do is crack that 20inch high hurdle in the S/J ... hmmm ... and I guess we need to break through the 'Intro B' ceiling in the dressage ............. hmmmmm ........ and the little 'no, I don't do water' problem .... and we'll be there, I swear ....

Didn't realise Teddy was a no-relation O'Connor, what are the chances of that!

and the little 'no, I don't do water' problem

Heh, I managed to solve the 'I don't do water' thing with my mare - I had to get in first, splash about & act like it was the best fun ever whilst ignoring her, she seemed to get highly irritated by this lack of attention & got in with me! At first she would leap straight out again and nearly flatten me, but things improved, & now she always goes in no bother. Trouble is that now she thinks water is fab fun, always wants to play in it & sometimes won't get out again! Can a horse get eliminated xc for pawing & blowing bubbles in the water jump I wonder...?

keep the faith

That pony must have springs for legs!

Phoebe Buckley's Badminton horse Little Tiger is only 15hh, so is nearly a pony(?) Ponies rule! I am a convert:D

Teddy!!!:D ;)
He's got the most amazing (as in random) breeding. Something along the lines of shetland somewhere in there I think. Someone once had he's breeding posted.
I saw Karen and him compete once and he put some of the 16+ horses to shame....:D

My friend was out there doing the photos for H&H, she said she had reservations when she saw his height on the info list before the event, but soon changed her mind when she saw him go round, she said he was amazing!
