She has really taken to it like a duck to water, she is much happier seeing her harness coming to her to tack up rather than her saddle :)

She's been broken about a month and is happy going out for around half a day with a lot of faster and offroad work. She has been out with friends and they have all been impressed by her (even to the point of accepting it is possible for mares to drive :p )

We are now going to take her away over the bank holdiay weekend to follow a track with a large group of friends which is about 20miles, we'll finish at the beach, camp at a farm overnight and then head back home the next day, it will really test her but we have faith in her :)

We have found her vehicle seems heavier than we like so we are looking for a slightly better suited cart, Dave is even considering building his own as he has all the blacksmithing equipment :)

I think driving has suprised Dave and I we both have found we really prefer driving to riding and as he wants to buy a Shire and Fresian I can't see us stopping driving anytime soon :)

We took Millie out today around the block jogging behind the trap, she really enjoyed herself and took her lead from Bramble as to gaits and what to be scared of, looks like we may have a possible pair matching in the next year or two :D

My Old Haflinger stallion prefered to go out driving than riding.

If the vehicle and harness are set up correctly they have more freedom to move and the job is easier for them.

She certainly lokos laid back and happy.
