More than 3 Lines on your Signiture??

Hiya everyone!
I love having a signiture I really do. I have one of my favourite phrases for "my" lurvley TB x on it and a nice quote which I found on a beautiful picture I have in my room.
The problem is I want to have more on my signiture incluiding a link but I cant. I've seen other members using more than 3 lines on theirs but I'm ristricted (sp) to only 3.
Please please please mr/mrs New Rider (:D) can we have more lines for our signitures? Pleassseeee........ plus I would love to know how others have more than four lines as I really want to put this link on my signiture!
Anyone agree that we need more room on our signitures with the possiblilty of pictures like other forums??

and it has something to do with the number of characters too, not just the number of lines:mad:

Yeah mine is longer but i wanted to change one of the links but i cant as it means il need to only have 3 lines! Bit annoying as one of the links to some pictures is quite old and i havnt updated it.

I don't agree with pictures like on other forums though...they make threads impossible to read! Some people's pics are ridiculously large and take up the whole message...

maybe if you want to put a pic up it has to be a certen size (smallish)

Nooooo .... I HATE forums where peoples signatures are full of sparkly pictures and silly messages! It dtracts away from the written word!

I would like a few more lines and maybe a SMALL picture (no bigger than avatar size) but I am also a member of a forum where huge sparkly signatures are ENCOURAGED through competitions and the like. It drives me utterly insane as the page takes ages to load, and when I have started scrolling down through posts, the downloading pictures mean that I end up being bumped away from what I am reading and it's very frustrating so I turn them off altogether now. Even where I have a lot of space, I try to keep my sig to a fairly discreet size.

I remember the old days when signatures where as long as you wanted... There was one member with a signature that was, no kidding, about ten lines of solid text. :D

definately more lines/characters but no pics... we have an avatar and you can put up a pic in your profile (for those pic obsessed people :p) anymore pics and the page would take even longer to load.

Me being a Graphic Design Freak would love it if we were allowed pictures :p :o But I can udnerstand people's reasoning, HUGE signatures can be a pain, especially of you have a dial-up connection. I've seen forums that maximise their signatures to this size:

But I agree, having a few more lines of text would be great :D
