What is the Most effient way to bathe?

What are the best shampoos?

Can you use human ones on horses?

Do you use conditioner?

How do you keep them clean, so you are not bathing all the time?

---------------------------------------------

what about synthetic tack: ie) Wintec

How do you all clean it?

---------------------------------------------

Thank you all for replying!!

Well, I don't really know what the best shampoos are, but idodine shampoo works really well against infections (ringworm, etc). Yes you can use human shampoos and conditioners on horses. Heck, at my stable we use Sun-Ripened Rasberry from Bath & Body Works!!!!! That's about all I can think of right now, I hope it helps!

hello!

I find the best way to bath is using a hose pipe - but do check that your horse isn't scared of it first!

Human shampoos are fine on horses - and a LOT cheaper!

Dunno about conditioner.

To keep your horse clean either keep him in or rug him - or just accept that you will need to bathe him (much fairer to the horse).

Synthetic tack - i bought a Wintec 500 last year and it is BRILLIANT. Fits my horse really well, is really comfy to sit on and lends itself to a very good leg position. Wrt cleaning it - I wipe it with a damp cloth everyso often. My saddler recommended that i use washing up liquid if it gets really grubby - no need for expensive synthetic saddle shampoo.

hope that helped!

bye!

I'm not sure about the best Shampoo & Conditioner but I've been using Mane & Tail Shampoo and Conditioner and itt works fine and dandy. Here's a easy trick for your saddle: vacum it, it works wonderfuly.
