I have a horse that walks like this - the hindlegs stick out slightly

Is this normal, he's 13 and slightly overweight but has always done it even when at a better weight. Does it mean anything? Should i be overly concerned?

Thanks

ETA Back, teeth and tack are all fine

yes, it is normal. chances are if you look up at his hocks, they point inward towards each other. it's a common and not serious conformational fault, called being cow-hocked.

Thanks Mehitabel for clearing that up for me! :)

Yes he may be cow hocked, his hocks turn inwards hence why his feet are like that. I don't think it's serious, just a conformation fault. Does it effect his other paces?

No not really, his paces could be better but that's down to schooling though not Cow Hocks. Thanks SJ-Z. :)
