Well, well, well. He's been on rest for the past week, has come in tonight with a chunk missing from his back leg. It's the other leg that got cut last week; (link (http://www.newrider.com/forum/showthread.php?t=110391) to thread, incase anyone missed it.)
It seems that it may be another kick, but this time from his only fieldmate Missi. However, in one of the pics that isn't the close up, there is a muddy patch around the cut and around his bum, which may suggest another way he got the cut...anyone have any ideas?
The cut itself, as you can see, is not a puncture wound and there aren't any little puncture holes in sight, it is more literally a graze, but a rather quite deep one because the whole surface of it (the pics were post-cleaning) was bloody and red raw. It's very sore to the touch and i had terrible trouble cleaning it.
For now, it has some barrier cream on it, until tomorrow when I can go into town and get some spray on elastoplast and jelonet dressings.
Do I use the same procedures and products that I did with the other cut?
This one seems to be really bloody compared to the last one and when I applied the cream, it started to bleed and it was really messy and icky :(
Thanks x
