how about a thread for people to advertise their businesses or to advertise themselves to break in horses to ride and drive. This will help people as they will not have to look around different websites to find someone to break their horse into ride or drive etc.

Yep, anyone wanting to advertise can post in the classified section.

Advertising services on the forums isn't a great idea since it could appear that NR endorses the advertiser, which is not the case.
