The YO is going to put 'my' pony up for sale!:eek:

Admittedly he will hopefully be moving from a city farm, where he has done wonders for dozens of children & RDA riders to a lovely home in the country with just one rider to take him jumping and hacking and doing fun riding club type stuff. And he has certainly earned his nice retirement. But why couldn't they have held on for a year or two, so he could come home with me?:(

I would die if my school did that with my fave girl....poor you, you will miss him unless the bank robbery goes well (imagines getaway horsebox....?:rolleyes: )

sounds like he's going to a nice home though :) i used to ride at a city farm and at an inner london riding stables ... i was never too impressed as to how the horses were kept, to be honest :) people were admittedly trying their best and making the most out of what they had available, but overall ... not a dream horsey home.

He has earned his retirement for sure - he really is a star, but just lately he has started to get a bit stale, not wanting to go out to the school and things (though he is still happy to work when he gets there at the moment). And no, things aren't ideal where he is, though there is no shortage of commitment among all volunteers and staff. He has done his bit, and will be much happier if he can be found a nice new owner to do fun things with him. If I could have him, I'd try and find him a place where he could live out all the time, I think he'd appreciate the space! I'm just going to miss him:o

I think I'll take Taz on the robbery - he's a nippy mover for a 14.2 cob, you won't see us for dust...:D
