Horse lost shoe......

When a horse loses its shoe out in the field is it best to leave the mails in or take them out yourself??

Flaire bear lost her shoe yesterday, the nail is sticking out & she is lame on it should I take it out or leave it for farrier to do?? He is coming on Tuesday :)

If you can get the nail out easily then do it, if its in a position to do some damage because of how its sticking out then take it out. If its stuck tight and not sticking out too much then leave it to the farrier.

Thanks for the reply-its stuck in quite tight so I think Ill leave it, couldnt get it out with a hoof pick soI think Ill leave it put :)
