I've wondered over the last few weeks whether or not we need saddles altered or replaced. I've come to the conclusion that we probably need to look at replacement. I noticed on removing our GP saddle that there was some disturbance to Kerry's hair over about a 3" diameter on one side (never seen this before), and I also think that her dressage saddle is slipping (not a lot but still slipping) from side to side as I ride.

She seems to have developed very gradually a much firmer and wider "back"; for example, the saddle doesn't glide back as easily when I'm trying to slide it back when tacking up. Any advice on who to ask to see her re one of Heather's saddles (probably Easisit) around the Berkshire/Oxfordshire boundary?

hello!

Maybe Kay humphries coud come out and help you. She is based at Beaconsfield which isn't too far from you I should guess.

She works from a Wed to Fri at Norton and Newby saddlers - 01494 676583.

She does the fitting for easysit saddles.

bye!

Sarah,

Thank's for your reply. Last year Heather let me have Kay's number (but I had since lost it) and then in the end found I couldn't quite afford a new saddle so bought a second hand dressage saddle and had the GP modified. This year, although I need to be guided by the experts, I think Kerry will have to have new.

Thanks again.
