I have an oil painting of Maddison that my dad did for me, its hanging pride of place in the hallway so I see it every time I come in. I would like one of Libby now :D

I love the white highlight on the tip of one ear! He is a good subject with his unusual markings, isnt he!

Yes Lynne it was one of DS's I am lucky to be one of the chosen ones - or Cooper was :D

All for a donation to an equine charity - what a great lady.

Glad you all like it.

I bet it looks better in real life.

I have to wait until it dries now before it can be posted.

We'll have to get it framed now too - there is a business that does a good job in the town.

I'm glad you all like it!

Before I get any more interest I will put publicly the source of the painting.

DS is someone off another forum that I post on.

She has been very ill and hence is off work, can't ride and gets fed up at times.

An equine charity linked to the site have recently had a vet bill for £4000 for a horse that featured on the forum and the charity are in dire straights.

DS kindly offered to do a few paintings from a choice of photos

I was one of the chosen few - or should I say Cooper was. She found him an 'interesting subject'.


The work has completely exhausted her though and so she isn't doing any more for the mo.

So that is the story ..............
