Who's in the pony club?

Question in the title. Just wondering really! What sorts of things do you do? There's loads of stuff to do in ours, spoilt for choice really :p

I'm in the ponyclub:D , I don't know what to say we do. Prince phillip cup, Dressage, Showjumping, Hunter trials, eventing, Rallys, Pony camp, efficiency badges, efficiency tests, Riding and road safety ect...:D

I wish I'd had the chance to join the PC, such a good stepping stone for youngsters (well, the 'real' down to earth youngsters who are not spoilt by parents attempting to produce the next Zara Phillips!)

I used to be! I still go to the odd one or 2 open comps my branch hold. I joined when I was 13 until 2 years ago when I was 17, mainly due to I had to concentrate on my A levels and didn't have time to keep going regulary!
I think it's a great place for both fun and to bring on your riding and general horse care experience.
The only thing I hated about it was 90% of pony club mums are so pushy and do everything for there children!!!!!! It irritates me no end when they turned up with 3 ponies who mummy always groomed tacked up and even stood in the middle of the warm up ring screaming to the kid for "more leg more leg"
The last year or 2 that I went everyone was moving on to horses and I still kept with my 14.3hh Conny as he's the only horse I've had. I was a little bit jealous cos they all had at least 2 horses if not 3 each, but my pony/horse still would come top of them :-)

I come from a totally non horsey family and have had to do everything for my horses. I always wondered if there mums and dads weren't there keeping pushing would they give up and lose interest!
Anyway, I met some nice people through the pony club and if your young and have access to a pony club, go! :-)

I was thinking of joining the pony club when i get a horse,
but i 've allways been kinda put off by those types that H@nn@h was talking about !:o

Well.. Im sure you know what Pony Club im in!! :D

Its VERY fun! We get to take part in all activities, even if we arent competing or anything. Like, you know my PC show you came to? Well, if i wasn't riding, i would have been doing something. I really enjoy the helping :D Especially the 'putting poles back up' job!!
