i am nerly 18years old 5ft 5 and 7st 10 do you think i am too big for a small pony?
had my friends helping me hunt for a new part loan and one of them sugested a 12.2 pony they had seen advertised
do you think i am too big/old for a pony that size

You might look a bit silly, but weight wise you'll be fine:) Have fun;)
I wish i weighed the same as you, why am i 16 and weigh 8.6 stone??:mad: :o

no! not if you get a sturdy eg native type!
i'm a bit taller than you and have a 12.3hh exmoor ... i dont think i look all that silly :cool:

Dyfra is a round 12.3
I am down to 5' 6 1/2",,here I am about 5 months or so before the accident.
So depending on your ponies build..I would say yes, you can ride a 12.2.
As for people saying you look silly. Like them to go to Iceland and tell all the horsemen in that Nation, they look silly on their 12.2 to 13.3 hand Icelandics.Many are 6' tall Vikings. See what kind of response get. It would be priceless!!:D
