Back to riding - roll on FRIDAY...

Went up to yard today decided to forego the 5 min sit-on's and see if they would give me a short lesson - 15 or 20 minutes or so.

Hadn't been able to talk to YO, she has had a bereavement :( so thought it best not to bother her.

Anyway RS secretary gave me a special rate for a 20 min lesson which I have booked for Friday, with S, one of the AIs up at the yard (with whom I have had a fairly regular private lesson - I know her quite well)

Yayy, I can't wait. Spoke to S, the instructor, who discussed horses and saddles with me and I think we have settled on sweet (but speedy) Pepsi, probably w & t and mostly on the lunge..... Cait is coming with me, we'll try and get some pics.

And bought a new hat - birthday pressie from OH- getting all set.

Race for Life gave me the confidence, but never thought I'd be back in the saddle before I am back to work - priorities eh?

yay, you must be so exited! I'm dieing, I have only been out of the saddle for 4 weeks, and i'm going nuts! I just want to get back on that saddle! but start riding again next sat, and I can't wait!

I don't know how you guys that can't ride for months do it. I reccon I would top myself!
