I can't help you I am afraid but I am having the same problems with my little cob mare, so it will be interesting to see if there are any suggestions.

What pad are you using, how fit is your horse and how long are you riding for?
I use a Haf airnet pad under my Freeform, Dolly's pretty fit - easily does 5 miles in trot without puffing! and I ride her for between 20 minutes to 5 hours 5 days a week. The last long ride we did she was warm under the saddle but not sweaty...

@ Showjumper, Is the HAF airnet pad the same as the HAF cotton pad? and what is the cream coloured poss sheepskin? pad you use under your freeform in some of the pictures??

No - the Haf Cotton is by the same company but a different pad. I swear by the Airnet. It's the black pad on the more recent photos.
The cream fluffy pad on the older photos is a Griffin Nuumed Hi Wither Endurance pad which I've now sold as it wasn't as good as the Haf Airnet.

Showjumper - is there a website for the manufacturers of the Haf pads, wanted some more info and close up pics of the airnet.
Have the same problem as coblette1.
Bought the Horsedream with my new freeform and it's a lovely pad but DP is getting rather sweaty under it.
So looks like the airnet may be a solution.
