I wouldnt say there was much wrong with your riding!
Your leg position is fab when jumping!!
Only thing i would say is you ride a lot with your upper body - try to keep your top half more still and your hands a little quieter.
And try to push your bum out further towards the back of your saddle when jumping as you looked a little too far up rather than forward!
Your horse went fab too tho! well done :)

hi,

laura stole what i was going to say...lol!

it was a nice steady round so well done for that. your legs are good and still too.
try and keep your shoulders back bit more, especially in canter - with your canter you are driving with your seat (which isnt a bad thing - just make it a bit more discreet;)).
in some of the jumps you appeared to just be leaning forward over them so stand up a forward a bit more.
in your jump off, if you stand in your canter then you will be able to use your weight to make those tight turns. good ways of practising this are:
stand in your canter
practise tight circles
ride with reins v.v.loose in one hand and use weight and legs to do turns in walk then as trot and canter over time.

does that help?

and again - well done!!!:D

I saw a couple of times in the video when you were riding, not jumping, it looked as though you were riding with a bent back, like sometimes it wasn't straight.

I think you look great! Just minor things that have already been mentioned.

Not horrendous at all Nat!! Lovely to see some Fleurry vids again!!

Basically, to me it just looks like you do the same as me. You look like you've been riding bigger horses where you sometimes have to move more, and then you've got on Fleur and are like- WHAT?! Where's the horse!! You just need to be a bit more still in your upper body, everything else is fab. Don't worry about the fold, those jumps were so small (understand why) for you too that there was no need, Fleur barely moved!! ;)

Well done, a really lovely video :D

Ditto everyone else, I was expecting to see you both all over the place! What do you think was wrong?

I agree with the other comments, and would add thinking about bending Fleur round the turns more - she's a bit of a motorbike sometimes! Otherwise I liked your round, esp the flying change!

Your just curving your back a bit you need to try to sit up straighter9It may be nerves, some people tense up without realising when they havn't jumped for a while), it was quite good though well done! Another tip is to support him whilst going round corners by using your outside hand and insde leg! Really nice round!!!:D

ditto grey gelding too! - easing your shoulders back should lift your upper body and elp keep yer bum back a bit too. this will also help your horse to lighten his forehand and lift himelf over the jump.

What all the others have said plus....

- You obviously look for your stride, and when you think its going to be a really long one, you are pushing on [[Especially into the first double]] and i think thats confusing her a bit. Try shortening her stride up instead and getting her on her hocks.

Dont worry, i do i LOTS I see a long one a think "AAAH must push!" Lol!

Shes a fantastic pony! I think i will find it particularly hard to move onto horses full-time.. Ponies are fun!! :D

Well done! :D
