Boys wearing pink?

My colt is black and my favorite color is pink, would he look silly in pink? I think it looks really good on him but the neighbors laughed at us. I would love to make pink his color, do you think I'll be made fun of at shows for this?

The horse won't mind - but yep, I would find it kind of funny to see a colt dressed all pink... :D
The good thing about black horses it that almost any coulour will suit them.

well Pickle has the Weatherbeeta "heather and slate" set :rolleyes: I did manage to get the slate rug with the heather edging, but his travel boots look decidedly PINK
and due to a mistake being sent when I ordered a rug????

ive seen lots of guys wearing pink its really in for those that dare to wear. who cares what everyone else thinks, girls can wear blue. if you like it and he dosent mind. there just jealous he looks so good in it.

i have that set for my (very) dark bay and it looks great on.....her (but it looks good on him too DD;) )

i had to buy a rug asap for kaiser when he arrived and the tack shop only had one 6ft6 l/w rug left.

It was baby pink and grey :eek: the masta one!

i put it on him and everyone felt sorry for him and laughed. :o
But it didnt fit him as it was too tight on his high wither ( i think he was secretly puffing him self up the way to get make it look too tight:rolleyes: :) )

Thanks everyone! Your horses look gorgeous in pink! I think I'll go ahead and do it because I love it and my colt doesn't seem to mind. I'm sure we'll get made fun of but your right its probably just cause they're jealous that they can't pull off pink! Thanks again, i loved the pictures!

Colours dont matter to horses, it's the owners who seem to have a problem with them. I dont see why you shouldn't put a pink rug on a gelding. He wont be embarrassed!. Personally, I like black and purple.

i dress my boy in pink, and the other wears purple! here is kes modelling his baby pink brushing boots. His xc colours will be pink and dark blue! mum says that's horrid but she won't be riding him :rolleyes: ;) :p

My old chap has a bright pink turnout rug with full neck! Its so bright I saw him from when I flying down to cardiff last year lol!
