Well I can't complain though - it's still pretty warm for almost winter - 18 degrees most days and 11 at night....

But today we had wind - seems like the first day we have had wind since Xmas!

All the horses were a bit on edge....

Here's a video of Garbo - I feed him some lucerne forage before our ride now - just a wee bit - to help him build his muscles during exercise - something to do with the A and B amino acids? My friend did explain but I forgot already.... this is to help him with his hoppyness and sore back muscles... mainly tight rather than sore.... so we have some rubbing and stretching to do each day too... also adding some soymeal to his dinner.

Here's a couple of shots with the stable cat....

He's starting to get paler and hairier (cuddlier) for winter.... I love giving him kisses right below his ear where the sun is shining on in this shot - it's so soft there...and extremely adorable :D

Actually Dee I am riding him - started just bringing him slowly into work with long warm ups and warm downs, with only 10 mins work to start. Also began massaging his muscles and doing stretched before work too - this seems to be helping - on the third day of increasing the work from 10mins to 20 mins he only had one hop on the first transition.

I am also feeding him a little lucerne forage 30 mins before riding.

We also have a two week trimming schedule for the next two months to keep on top of the hoof imbalance along with some homeopathic remedies for the grass allergies...

phew - tired just thinking about it....

Had an equine physio (from the UK) look at him today - she said his muscles along his back and topline were strong and in good shape so she thinks what I am doing is good.
