View Full Version : Waterproof saddle cover for riding?

I assume these exist?

I was looking at the saddles today at our yard after couple of lesson in the rain this morning and they were completely soaking wet, which is not good when we are talking about £300-400 suede saddles.

Can anyone recommend a waterproofed cover for the saddle that can be used whilst riding? Something that is easy to put on and take of, doesn't restrict the stirrups and still at the same time is not too slippy to sit on?

Any advice muchly appreciated,

They do exist and you can ride comfortably in them. I have them on my saddles as saddle covers rather than for riding, they cost somewhere between £10 and £15 if memory serves :)

Don't suppose you could post a link to what sort you have? :D I was worried I might have to start sowing one myself.. ;)

Thanks a lot! :)
