The Surrey County Show (in the rain)

What is it about me and OH this year and the shows?

We felt a bit trapped yesterday with the weather so decided come rain or shine we would head to the show today.

Come rain is what it did...............

We've certainly had our monies worth out of the old muck boots.

As we arrived through the entrance tent we were greeted by a range of colourful horses who weren't complaining about the rain.........

To the left we were entertained by the dog agility group which was sooo much fun to watch.

My old lurcher would have been fabulous at that in his younger days.

Then off to the food hall to dry out a bit - seems a lot of others had the same idea.

Being such an awful day the pies, pasties and bacon butties were selling well.......

and we eventually found some real horses.

We saw Lynne Russell in a warm up arena but I went off to buy a show shirt so didn't see what she got up to.

Nice and warm and smelly with the cows indoors - I felt like snuggling up inbetween these two...........

Not that show but we were at a different one :rolleyes: Got completely drenched! Got another one tomorow where i've a feeling the weather will be similar!

Still looks like fun though even if it was wet! :p :D
