At the moment Im leasing a 10 yr old 17.2-18hh gelding by the name of Stewart Little! Hes by Clover Hill so jumps a bit but is quite badly pigeon toed on his off fore.

He was bought by my boss at the sales, mainly because he saw a genuine horse and felt sorry for him! He was super skinny, the worst I have seen so far and lacking attention! He was 1st tried in the riding school but would not tolerate unbalanced riders, etc. I then took him on as part of my job to try and quieten him down but when the time came to hand him back me being me had already become attached!

To get to the point I decided to lease him, hes putting on condition and looks better already and have gotten him registered with the SJAI and hes ewasily jumping around the 1m. I looked up his past and found out he jumped 1m30 as a 7 yr old!!! then got into the wrong hands and a few months on was getting eliminated from the 1m!!! Thats when he went to the sales and was sold for a ridicilious price (i wont tell you yet!!!)

My boss is talking about me buying him but Im not too sure :o He flat work is coming on but he leans on the right rein (even in a gag!! ) and hes now controllable to jump! I love him to bits but will not kept him older than 12 yrs and cannot afford to have a loss. I really do love him and I know I sound like a dodgy dealer but really its just that Im broke! :o

What do you think? How much is he worth at the moment, keep in mind his dodgy leg but he is still cominh along and will def jump higher Im just a bit of a wuss! :p

Sorry for the big ramble, if you have questions that might help please ask! Id love to help any opinions at all, it would be very much appreciated! :D

Heres a couple o pics for you!!! The one outdoors was about a month ago and the other a month or two after he arrived, hes been with me since january.

Edited to say please excuise the dodgy position I had lost my stirrup!!!

oh He looks lovely !! Has he any sjai points, as that will def put the price up.
It is such a pity that he has a comformation fault, I'm really bad at guessing prices....am I'm going to say 6,000 ish...but again I'm prob way off.
Have you any video clips ???

god please don't be insulted if my price is way off ??:o

It is hard to say, £6000 might be right but I think he could easily be worth more! It just depends on the person I think! :)

Yup he has 90 SJAI points, dont know how much that is in the UK though??? Heres a video clip of our 2nd show, its the 90cm. Video isnt great as it was taken on a digi cam!

His dodgy leg is pretty dodgy but he copes really well, my boss also talked to the (nice international!!!) rider who had him from he was 4yrs-7yrs old and she said he wasnt a day lame!

Were jumping the 1m10 this weekend, which he should fly around, jumping 1m20 courses at home!

Thanks!!! :D

Do you think his value would go down if i was to sell him in two years, at the age of 12??? Would you consider that old???

I wouldn't! but there are some people who feel that only young horses compete! But a 19year old finished Badminton so I can't see 12 being a problem! :D

If it were me and i was about a foot taller lol. I'd offer you around £6500 to £7500. The pigeon toe wouldn't annoy me especially if he has never had a day off because of it. After all Supreme Rock had a bad pigeon toe! also his age shouldn't be a factor he has ability and talent and a lot of top showjumpers go on into they're late teens.
