Hello,

The zips on my Mountain Rider Winter boots have finally given up the ghost and I'm thinking of getting some new long boots. I much prefer long boots to short boots and chaps for some reason. However, I can't afford to spend a fortune on lovely new leather boots, so can anyone recommend some non-leather long boots that are good quality and good for riding? I have to say that my Mountain Rider boots, though lovely, probably weren't the best for riding - a bit too bulky.

I swear by my 'Muck Boot Company' boots, make sure you look at the ones for riding, they are slightly different to the mucker ones!

I sturggle to get comfy boots and these are bliss, warm in the winter but your feet dont boil in the sun!! they are between £50-60 so not too bad on your budget and they last!

I like the Mountain High Rider sportives for riding in. Wouldn't buy another pair of the normal Mountain High riders tho - the zip has gone in mine - but hopefully they'll replace it, as I've only had them 7 months. I think the Equitector boots are supposed to be good.
