which colour trousers?

*jumps up and down* i'm hoping to take kes to a show in july! inhand breed/age class. But i can never remember which colour trousers i should wear. He has 4 white stockings so do i wear dark trousers so his legs stand out, or do i go for beige/canary trousers?

i prefer dark ones wherever possible! would say dark with big stockings and orange above them.

i'm so glad you said that! i've black trousers that will do very nicely! what should i wear on my head? riding hat or the trilby/brimmed type hat? or nothing?

Think i've the rest of my outfit sussed. Yellow shirt, red tie, old brown tweed jacket (i want green tweed but unless a bargin turns up at the RHS i can't afford a new one!). Will i need a waistcoat? could i wear the shirt/waistcoat without the jacket if the weather is hot?

welshes are often shown with handler bareheaded, you won't see it much in any of the other breeds though, and either hat option is fine if you go hatted. waistcoat with no jacket is fine if it's hot. i never wear one under the jacket personally.

Ah, if i can get away with no hat then that's great! i REALLY don't suit hats :rolleyes: the comp is july the 1st and it was a scorcher last year. i'll have to invest in a waistcoat :D
