Confidence boost

Yesterday there was a dressage comp at the farm by ours and I went to watch 2 of our liveries, as a result they have talked me into doing it on June 13th.

So tonight I rode Bryony in the school, she went great until the basket ball stand fell and then she tried 3 spooks and 'mum I'm so scared' which normally scares me but tonight I rode her through it :D

Then I practised the dressage test with no canter as I hate doing that. Then 'my bully' said why don't you canter in the school to which I replied NO coz Bryony was still scared of going by the basket ball post so we went into the field and cantered twice.:D

The first time I have cantered in the field and I did it twice :D

Thats fantastic. What a great achievement, you can do anything with a confidence boost like that. More and more cantering.... yayy

Yes the large mouse told me she had spoken to you but what the mouse didn't know then was that I picked up a membership form today for the local show and am going to take Bry in hand and tack and turnout. The mouse is going to be my groom.

What Tanyajayne isn' telling anyone on this thread is that she's also coming on a long distance ride with us on the 9th...if we can load Bryony. And the c word will be happening....!!!:p

I think we are doing tack and turnout, if I can find all the pieces to the bridle you bought for me and I can tear my purple seat saver off the saddle :D
