I have noticed in the US and Canada you call them Kimberwicks and in the UK they are Kimblewicks!
Why is that do you suppose, where did the Kimble/kimberwick some from?
I shall have to shuffle off to google!
One moment please! ;)

Oh dear that is sad! I fear I will feel like that when the time comes to retire Sandy although I know I will get another horse and Sandy will stay with me.
Whats a 'Shiver'?

thank you....GORGEOUS pics!
I just wanted to make sure i HAD fitted it ok to my mare. she seemed to like the bit loads more then the loose ring jointed snaffle she had been having and she seems to have more confidence with it and me more brakes!! BUT just wanted to make sure as it looked a bit odd compared to her loose ring snaffle on her but i think that could be just because the straight edge of the D nearly follows the line of her mouth but it seems to do that on carbon's pic too so i;m not worried now....thank you!

Whats shivers? Whats shivers?
Its a neuro muscular disease that causes the leg muscles to go in to spasm when lifted above a certain point. It is degenerative in some horses (ed's case) and not curable at present.
