I know there is an endurance club in Cornwall but not sure how to contact them? Found the webby for endurance south west but do you just turn up for a pleasure ride? (after paying and entering obviously) Don't they hold training or anything? I think Cassie would be fab :D but don't know how to get started.
Also, if anyone is involved with the Cornwall endurance group or the cornwall TREC group, could you let me know please?
Any general info is also gratefully recieved!

Hi there,
I'm doing my first pleasure ride this weekend and to gain more knowledge prior to this I have helped out at the last two rides. It has been really helpful to see what goes on, meet some of the members in my area and get a better idea of how it all works.
From what I understand most clubs are crying out for helpers so why not give it a go ?! :)

Haven't got any information I can give you i'm afraid but just wanted to say good luck and go for it gal! :D
One of my closest friends from the showground has been selected for the england endurance "team" (or is it squad?) and she's going to germany in a couple of weeks!

I'm looking at getting into endurance aswell.
I think you need to go on 2 pleasure endurance rides first but there aren't that many of them, there was the golden horseshoe last month but I ended up not going.
Then you can on a day ticket twice up to 30 milers or something and then on from there really.
They will buddy you up with experienced riders on yoru first ride aswell.
If you find anymore info let me know.
The people at endurance GB are really helpful, I chatted to them at the GH ride.

Thanks everyone, helping is out is a great idea, will get in touch with them!
Will let you know what I find out Bobbin, and thanks sammii :D
I think it's the only discipline Cassie would be good at because her manners are atrocious at shows unless i'm on board, then she doesn't want to concentrate on her show or dressage, she just wants to go, so I reckon she'd be like the duracell rabbit, storming along like a trooper! She's not fazed by anything either...it could be her calling in life! She's not into jumping either bless her...
