Can anyone advise me on stirrup leathers or webbers for a dressage treeless saddle. I've never had one before, bought it through ebay and it fits beautifully but the e ring fitting seems very unsafe and my ordinary leathers slip off. I can't find a proper picture of the correct thing on anyone's website. Any advice would be welcomed.

What saddle is it and what is the stirrup attachment like?

Hi martini, it's a equinelibrium (trekker?) dressage treeless.

You could try T-buckle leathers like the ones here: http://www.bettersaddles.co.uk/acatalog/Stirrups_and_Stirrup_Leathers.html
(2nd one down)
or ones with the buckles at the bottom like these: http://www.horseandharmony.co.uk/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=196_198&products_id=1034&zenid=ff9c08b8783241332dc0d054bb01c710
(though I think you can just turn your leathers upside down and buy a 'sleeve' for them).
I'd think the first type would be your best bet :)

Just found some t-buckle ones on the equinelibrium website that are £35
http://www.naturallyequus.co.uk/accessories.html
"These leathers are made of double thickness beautifully soft leather, exceptionally strong with T bar fastening which allows the leathers to sit flat leaving no lumps or bumps under the thigh. Ideal for treeless saddles with E buckle system. Easily adjusted. Size 28”.
Price: £35.00"

Thanks, martini, that's really helpful.

Milo has a treeless dressage at the mo, with the 'upside down' leathers that came with it. I find them really comfy, but hard to alter when on board. I agree about the safety thing though, we have safety irons anyway

What is the 'E Buckle system' ? I use Wintec webbers on my treeless and they're ok. Cheap, at least.

Have a look on this website:http://www.naturallyequus.co.uk/el_dressage.html at the bottom of the page, on the right is a pick of the 'E buckle system' used on these saddles.
