I have had my horse for 3 and a half years. He was drastically underweight and in a terrible condition. It has taken me almost 3yrs to get him up to wieght and with enough muscle that he can comfortably be worked for long periods of time. Normally when i ride him he refuses to school and hates being worked in the arena. On firday I took him into the school just to remember what it felt like to sit on him, he hasnt been ridden much in the past year, about 14 times i think! I was utterly amazed when he dropped his head, brought his backend under him, and really statred to school perfectly! i have never sat on such a well schooled horse and certainly not one that hasnt been schooled in many years! i was so proud of him! He is also nearl sound, i gave him cortaflex for his navicular and it seems to be working! I just thought id let you all know how happy i am!
