I'm getting there!!!

Went up on the hills for a hack today for the first time since getting back in the saddle!!! :D

My mare was definately enjoying the freedom and even took the lead in a gallop up to the highest point (thankfully uphill or I might still be going now!!!!!).

Anyway, legs turned to jelly and I was a little taken aback at her speed and enthusiasm but, if Im honest, I loved it!!!

Just a small step in my bid to get my over my nerves..!:D

Thanks for the support! Getting there is my mantra!! Feels great tho being able to get back out there slowly. One of the reasons I decided to become a member and stop lurking was the fact there are novices and more experienced riders who suffer with nerves - I was so relieved to know theres so many of us out there. I really thought every other rider was naturally brave but now I know!!!!:D

I'll be in the nervous nellies club for ever tho, I know my place!!:D

oooh - how do you feel about your cover being blown. I'm sure mine is but no-ones mentioned it so far! I live in this perpetual coccoon whilst on the computer - as though the real world - which I (try to) describe must be familiar territory to at least one or two members or lurkers..... scary stuff!
