Sorry...:p
I've had my eye on these for quite a while but need all your thoughts on them.
Are they are good substitute to leather?
Do they rot?
Easy to clean?
Worth the money?
Good quality?
Do they break in well?
Are they comfy?
How are the sizes? Generous, loose, tight, small?

I had trouble with the left boot zip pull on mine - it broke after a couple of weeks (but that is probably because I put rather a lot of strain on it pulling the zip up over my huge left calf!). Other than that, I found them very comfortable and thought they looked very smart.

I think they looked nice - saw them in a mag - I should imagine they are easy to maintain (no "feeding" with leather balsam etc). All long boots apart from Mountain Horse High Riders make my feet sore tho......!! Let us know if you decide to get them - and how comfy they are!

I love mine! I'm a foot size 6-7 but in the Rideaway catalogue it said to go for a larger size as the sizes sometimes come up small so I went for the 7's which fit me perfect. I also got a wide calf which also fits my calves fine, and the height of the leg fits me but only just, but then again I am only about 5'4" so boots are always long on me. The outsides of them are still looking fine even though I batter them a bit leaving them on the floor etc. Though, to prolong their life, I don't put them on until I'm about to ride (I catch, tack up etc in wellies) and change back into my wellies pretty soon after I get back so they don't really get worn through walking around. I put insoles into them as soon as I got them as well so my sweaty feet wouldn't ruin the insides as that always seems to happen with my boots. I hack and school in them fine. Basically I think they're great for someone like me who has little money but wants some nice looking and comfy boots. Oh, and they need no breaking in, they were soft form the first time I wore them. HOWEVER, I don't know how good they are compared to leather boots as I've never had any, I've only ever had cheapy rubber ones so these are luxury to me. Oh, and there's sometimestiny patches of what is possibly mould in mine (just little specks, yes, I know, eww!) but that's mainly as I keep them in a shed and don't let them dry properly after I've used them.

I have them, so far very nice, dont need breaking in or anything. Praying they last a while, i have a bit of a reputation for breaking boots after a few weeks :o

I've not had the eqileather boots, but I had saxon leather job boots that were rubbish! But then again, maybe I wore them too much?? They didnt last me a year, the stitching on them split in places and the soles cracked right across and got a big hole in them, and seeing as it would cost more to resole than replace them... I bought a diffrent pair.
I still wear them tho, for every day riding (I have to change into them seconds before I get on, as they have basically no sole left! ) and keep the new ones for posh occasions.
(I also found saxon jods to be a pile of tosh as they lasted about 4 months before holes started to appear in unmentionable places!! - but my saxon rugs have all lasted)

Ditto - can someone tell me though if they are good for short a**ses like me (size 5 feet) or will they dig in the back of my knees??
Thanks!

Theyre closer to rela leather than rubber.
I have super long legs and they fit fine, might be an inch or so too short but meh. I know a friend with shorter legs who they dug into the back of the knees on though.
