nervous nellie 1st sj of the year

went sj'ing last week, i have the bug again :) felt really good - well better anyway after popping a few pills

must be 'slightly' less nervous than last year as i forgot the pills on my first round, so thats good right? - i suddenly remembered when all the nerves and holding of breath led to acute nausea after last jump - i did it, sick relief :rolleyes:

came 4th and 8th and lived through 3 rounds :) had a good blast round with sancho's daughter, reckon our horses are well matched for a good stomp round :) (well accept for one nervous nellie stopping at first jump) oops

was very pleased with drummer, all the pessoaing has paid off, he is still fast and strong and i have little control :rolleyes: but at least his head is up off of the floor lol it was nice to be tanked off with around the jumps with a head in front of me :)

ddj did well as well as it was her first ever competition and had some clears and a 8th place rosette

may have some news for you this week - but for a few days it is a secret (well as much as i can keep my pretty little mouth quiet) lol

believe it nerves still there lol but slightly better :) rather do a round than a sj lesson - at least with drummer its over with in 30 seconds :)

DDJ did very well, very proud of her and she is having great fun hacking him and fussing him (although he can put in a good few bucks in canter :rolleyes: but we knew that and as long as he is up near the front whilst she gets to know him and build up more confirdence he is better

cant do secret/news yet for a few days - i am rubbish at keeping secrets but morals do come first (you reading that bit bobbin and sancho lol) have a few people first then ill come straight back to nr :)
