so after much waiting my saddler has fitted a saddle which she says fits:D
however im unsure as when i walk my horse with no rider the back of the saddle lifts:eek: now the saddler says it is a new saddle and needs time to bed down and that when my horse walks off she rounds her back!!
she does drop her head when walking without a rider but if shes rounding and its lifting whats it gonna do when she rounds when i work her??
originaly i was having one made with an extra gusset as all saddles lift from her very straight back , but is that the way to go is it just hiding the problem?
anyway heres a pic of new saddle
before i got on(wee bit far forward and shes stood on uneven ground)

I'm no expert by any means on saddle fitting but I thought the idea was that there was NO movement of the saddle when either being ridden or just walking in hand

Does look a nice saddle tho, is it an ideal saddle?

hehe this is what i think to which is why im a little concerned!!no it is a forrester much cheaper than an ideal ,though i have been told an ideal would be er ideal but havent had the money for a new one nore a saddler that fits them!!it was between this and a kes i loved the kes but its wider and would push my hips out and as i already have bad hips this was the best option that and the fact i couldnt sit at canter in the kes!!!
