Hello you all, I am new, just hope I get to know how to work this formn ok. :)

I have been learning to ride for 5 months now. So far I have done walk, trot, sitting trot, posting trot, canter, jumps. Learning deep seat at moment, by having my stirrups folded on top of sadle. :D

I love it, and this side.

Welcome and hello!
Sounds like you've been having fun! When I had just started trotting without stirrups (I believe that's what you said you were doing), I felt very apprehensive, it was quite bouncy. How are you finding it?

Yeah I am having so much fun, I also felt nervous when I was told I was going to have lessons sitting trot without stirrups:D almost had a fall, but saved my self, it went great, if I tensed, the horse hollowed her back so it became bouncy, I had to breath, and breath, and I was relaxed then. Mind you I had my first fall 2 weeks ago doing the canter:D:, I was ok, got back on and did the canter again, felt ok. have had 2 lessons since the fall, and suprise suprise, I have done the canter totally relaxed:D mad or what?

xx

Hi you, nice name, I am getting on great, still got things to get right, but I suppose we are all in the same boat, at least I hope so, I just love my horseriding lessons, all is forgotten while I am riding, its just me and the horse and of course my teacher. I have private lessons. I need to get my half halts better, heels down too, yikes dont your ankle half hurt sometimes, at least I dont grip with my knees now like I first use to. xx
