Ok, im planning on buying an AP wintec saddle and well, i need some education on saddle pads. I dont know what kind to get! I wont be doing any extrem sports, mostly trail riding and some flat work. Anyways, could some one point me in the right direction?? I live in a tropical climate so how thick would i need?? Also, what kind of material??? does it matter if its quilted???
Thanks

if the saddle fits properly then the best thing you can get is something that is as thin as possible, anything thick under a well fitting saddle can alter the fit. its like wearing a pair of shoes that fit comfortably with thin socks, and then wearing them with thick wooly socks, slightly uncomfortable to say the least! My saddle fitter always suggests the hi-wither griffin nuumed everyday numnahs, nice and thin and will contour to the gullet and not cause pressure points :)
