So after just four weeks, my jump coach has to leave. She's left some lesson plans for my regular coach to help me along a bit. I do need a jump coach though, so the search continues.
However, jump coach was very pleased with our progress. She said we (Coquette and I) had come a long way in only a month. We're only working on crossrails, but both of us are starting to become more confident at it. Coquette's unsure but keen and really loves doing it (without being a nutcase). And I'm starting to get a feel for how much impulsion I need. :D
(No, no pictures yet, don't hit me with anything...)

We were just starting to get along too. She was a banshee in my first lesson and I hated her, but as I improved, she stopped screaming at me.
Peppermill, eh? I can honestly say I wasn't expecting a peppermill.

Throws large ball made out of pieces of scrap vinyl... and of course misses:rolleyes:
Hey good for you for having progressed so much. Interesting about the way your coach's "ability & progression" meter worked:p
What a shame she must leave :( Why though?

She's got a job out west. I knew this from the beginning, but I figured four lessons was better then none. There's a lack of coaches around here.
Hey you don't want to come teach me and Coquette, do you LMS? We're good students, I promise! :p

Oooooooh I wish I could but because I only have my instructor's level, thechnically, I'm not allowed to teach someone to actually go over fences :( I can teach everything that comes before that though.;)
Apparently if something happens, I don't get the support from EC & OEF.
But I'd certainly loooove to come & meet you & your loverly Coquette though;)
Hubby & I really want to go back to NS & finish roaming the countryside. Every year we try but it never happens :( We went there for our honeymoon 17yrs ago. It was fun, we had the cash from our wedding, my dad's car & a map. We tried to avoid where the tourists went, ended up on roads that weren't even on the map:D Met wonderful people!
We loved it so much that OH wanted to move there.
But I have to admit... ahem... we went there because we couldn't afford to go to Scotland where the rest of his family lives.
Hopefully we can build our business to the next level where we can have dependable staff & can travel. Ah to dream...;)

It's often like that- after about 7 years mine is still a screaming banshee, a typical selection over 3 jumps (taken from a vid I have on my phone):
"BREATHE- RHYTHM RHYTHM RHYTHM RHYTHM, FINE GOOOOOOOD, TKAE YOUR TIME, CAAAAAANTER LEAD, NOW SHOULDERS UP, PRESS, PRESS, PRESS, GOOD, SHOULDERS UP, YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES, GOOD, RIIIIIIIIGHT"
HAHAHAHAHA!!!! :D
Expect the unexpected!! ;)
