Normally when the horse is shod they make the shoe smaller so that the wall of the foot is nearer to the edge! Does your horse get cold or hot shod??

they look ok to me...she could get another week or so out of them. she obviously just has slow growing feet....which is handy. sometimes if they have slow growing feet and you shoe them every 4 weeks the wall can weaken cause nails are basically being put just a bit about the old ones making them prone to spliting...mine are done about every 6 weeks or when they need it ...

The clenches are starting to rise, you might get them to last a bit longer, but they do look as if they are on the way out.
