Hi All

Im looking at a horse who is on the middle ring of a 3 ring gag because
his owner found him to lean on the forehand during schooling work which she is mainly doing as well as hacking. I usually ride in a snaffle, could this gag be hiding a potential green horse? Im after a quiet hacker, he is a cob.

Any advice appreciated, thanks all xxxx

i'd try him with two reins, one on the normal snaffle effect ring, and another on the second ring, so that if you need it its there. i'm sure i've heard that this is how they are supposed to be used:confused:

there is every chance that he is heavy because its how he's been allowed to be, people often panic and look to a stronger bit when, as you suggest, the prob could just be re schooling/balancing

:D
