Saddle/back people

Anyone experienced in backs or saddles please help. Racing saddles? Could you hack out in them?

Ive read on here before that racing saddles only have a half tree, so have quite a heavy pressure point at the back (I think...) and so are uncomfortable for the horse. And i might just be makign this up, but i swear someone posted about them gettign fused vertibre in their spine eventually from holding themselves so strangely to escape the pressure.

I may just have made all that up though, you're best waiting for a more experienced poster to stop by :o :D

very easy to fall out of by the way. Ive dropped out of mine rather too often but that could have something to do with the baby racehorses i ride in it :p
