Hi :)

I have 3 C&O hats and love them :D I've got 2 'junior' for every day and a 'posh' Showjumper for 'best'.

It depends whether or not they fit your head at the end of the day but they are a good make and even the 'junior' range is good quality.

I do have a hat case but also have a boot bag which also fits a hat and is easier to carry around.

I, personally, don't bother with covers but I know that some people prefer to use them.

I have two Charles and Owen hats, and I love them - they're the Junior ones (amazingly cos I thought I had a big head!!!). I have a nice navy one and a black one - (which I've had three years so will be replacing soon). They're a good price too (tho of course you can't put a price on your head of course!!)

I have a c h hat too, so comfortable and light. Its my first hat, I did ask my teacher what to go for, but she said its personal prefer, but as long as its got the safety kit mark, you will be ok.

I have a CO Show Jumper velvet hat and am about to buy a J3 jockey skull. I would recommend them of you have a CO-shaped head, but not everyone does.

If you can, try on a Charles Owen, then try a Champion. Most people seem to be either CO heads or Champion heads. I'm a Champion head, & if I try a CO on it feels very perched, like it's going to pop off. They are both brands with a good reputation so I'd buy whatever feels most comfy & secure on your head.

I second that. I too am a champion gal and simply went for the best fit for my shape of head :)

I have a Charles Owen and find it very comfy. However, if you live in warmer climate (like I do) you might find that it is not very well-ventilated and will make you three times as hot in the summer.

Hello fellow Canadian :) I love Bahr's too!

I, and many other people who I have spoken to, agree that Charles Owen's are probably the comfiest helmets we have ever put on our heads.

Personally, I am wishing for the Charles Owen GR8... but due to lack of money  :(

Between the two you have selected, I would choose the Hampton. Its very popular in the hunter show ring around here!!
