Forgive the quality. My camera sucks, the lighting in the school sucks, and my instructor is a horsewoman, not a photographer. But they are in fact pictures!

*Please don't critique. We're still new at this. :)*

First time jumping in a week. We over jumped this by about 2 feet, hence I'm pretty sure I got left behind on the landing.

RI took the picture too late, but it's an awesome action shot anyway. :p

And finally, a good one!

Can't right now. The new stables extends into the outdoor school, so the fencing for the outdoor school is done on one end. And I'm not brave enough to jump with an open-ended school!

Pah jump in the open end.. learn to be a X-country rider in one fell swoop..

Your doing very nicely my dear, Keep those photos tucked away.. as you progress it's fun to go back and have a look :)

Maybe when I said I wasn't brave enough, what I meant was I'm not stupid enough. :p The open end points right towards a logging road and I don't feel like getting flattened by a truck!

Hmm, getting flattened by a truck probably isn't the best way to spend your jumping lesson!

Thanks for sharing photos, you and Coquette are coming on so well!

Thanks! Now all we have to do is figure out how to jump four of those, one after the other.

I generaly find that guiding with my reins (we have already established I cant look for it cause my eyes are closed) really helps me do 4 in a row :D

As to the running down the road and trucks.. think of it as.. road and track..

Well when I say four in a row, I mean four in a *gulp* course. One on each quarter line, and one on each diagonal. Which involves turning. Oh dear...

Put one on the left, one on the right sides of the indoor, ride the track like normal and just "end up" at the second :D After that I find pulling the rein in the direction I want to go effective ;)

Little more faith in yourself my dear :)
