i have had my horse for a year now and although i have been riding for years i only really started jumping last summer (i did one show last year).
Any way this year i have now been to two shows and i have got a 7th and 8th in 2ft '6. and i got a 3rd on sunday in 2ft 9.On sunday we went clear in both the 2ft 6 and 2ft 9 first round and then clear in 2ft 6 jump off which got us 8th, and we got 12 faults in 2ft 9 and came 3rd. Only 4 of us out of about 15 got thru to jump off stage.i am so pleased with my boy and myself(he so fast ) as on wednesday i wasn't going at all (generally being a wimp and doubting myself, but my friends talked me round and i ended up being the only one who came home with anything, which has done wonders for my confidence)

That is fantastic, you and your horse have done really well.

Now that we are getting into the summer show season there will be nothing to stop you now!

That's great! I wish I had the confidence to do that, my old pony put me off jumping, but i have a new horse now and i'm building up my confidence, wish me luck because this season i'm going to be entering lots of shows, and hopefully coming back with some rosettes! Tasha

I don't get pleased at my pony for jumping the height as he can do it fine, but when I jump higher i tend to be more pleased with myself for jumping the height as I am a wimp. lie on Saturday i did a 3ft course (yes, scary). Maverick sailed it, but usually at that height in a course I get scared and pull out causing refusals. Of course Maverick got a big pat for helping me. We came 2nd and everyone thought we were great (they know I'm a wimp)
