I am buying a wee baby soon and next year I will be showing her. I have asked advice from my friends in the know and they suggested that, because of her breeding she should go for RHS 2008.
Do I have to qualify youngstock? cos obviously I cant qualify her as a yearling the year before?! If so, which shows are qualifiers?
Help purleese!

AFAIK you don't. There aren't the same number of shows up there as there are down here, so it'd be quite hard to qualify!

Hi,
i dont *think* so but not 100% sure. i posted a thread yesterday asking about the british show horse association as i had never heard of it before: http://www.newrider.com/forum/showthread.php?t=114964
nobody has replied but if you follow the link then i think they hold qualifier shows for things - but then again i've never heard of it!

Dont quote me on this but for most of the classes you just enter. Its the showjumping that holds some qualifiers but i dont think the showing does. You have to pay a tidy some of money to enter though. The only qualifying shows that i really know of in Scotland is at Blair Atholl and Strathallan.

i'm pretty sure you don't have to qualify for classes at the highland. You just enter :)

I think you have to enter a long time before hand though?
