Thirlestane & Blair castle

Who is going?

Bit early i know .

Thirlestane is 17th - 19th August
Blair Castle is 23rd - 26th August

I will probably go to both but every year i say i am not going to Blair but i always do anyway :rolleyes:

we could have another meet up and have lunch and shop etc etc:D

Not going to thirlstane, it's too close to blair and i can't afford trips to both. Will be going to Blair for XC day though.

I might be going to Thirlstane ! We will be staying near Kelso that week and I believe Thirlstane is only just up the road from there, so I plan to go as long as I can persuade hubby and Small Child that a day at the Horse Trials is what they really want to do.

i'm going to both, think i may be staying at Thirlestane with the yard :o but then again maybe not. Don't think tenting is my thing haha

D'Oh! Will miss Thirlestane again this year then, as down south that weekend. Will definitely have to head to Blair on the Sat though, as I couldn't get any rugs at the Highland Show - I like the shops at Blair though... better start saving!!;)

I should be at Blair all 4 days. Have never been before and have been told that main meals and wine will be payed for me and all I have to take is 'pocket money'.
Hmm I have a feeling I will be spending all of the money I earned teaching at PC camp.

Got the weekend off for Blair!!!! My boss fortunately is very sympathetic towards my horse addiction. Either that or the thought of me moping aorund because I couldnt go wasnt really that attractive to her her lol.

Depending on how my timetable works out I might go all 4 days, otherwise the Saturday and Sunday. Sooooooooooooo excited now. I feel a spending spree coming on. Not that I even need anything !!!!!

Last time I went to Thirlstane was 1997- Chris Bartle and Word Perfect 2 won it!

you have to go to thirlestane!!
its cheaper, no hills to climb, everytime i go to blair it rains!! thirlestane has always been sunny!!

and the XC is on a sunday at thirlestane rather than saterday.
